Classes are held in the studio at Bridge Pottery. Each student has access to their own wheel and focused support and guidance. We are currently able to offer one to one tuition to four students at a time. To get in contact, please email Chris directly here.
Chris Jenkins teaches the 5 week course on Tuesday evenings and the adult taster classes by arrangement. Chris is local to the area, born and raised in Swansea. He graduated from UWTSD with a degree in Fine Art in 2018 and has been working at Bridge Pottery since 2017.
We offer an introduction to working on the potter's wheel on the 5 week course. The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some experience. Students will learn how to centre the clay, make bowls and cylinder forms and will be able to have a couple of pots fired. More experienced students will be able to practice and throw forms of their own . Classes are on Tuesday evenings, 6pm–8pm. The cost of the course is £150.

A minimum of two people, maximum of 4. Taster sessions are a basic introduction tousing the wheel and throwing a pot. The cost is £40 per person for 1 ½ hours.We do not offer to fire pots from taster sessions.
